You can find a device's uuid from /dev/disk/by-uuid (eg. "ls -l /dev/disk/by-uuid"). You can use "ls -l /dev/disk/by-id" to help identify the various block devices (aka storage devices, hard drives, flash drives etc.) that are currently attached to your system. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAknCfi0ACgkQwRXgH3rKGfOKTACbB2wqh1HQ/lpTcT0EBA3fCz5q 5HoAn2HLZVHmwSVnQdFaVOmh8dMgYH4z =jdHZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
