I mentioned using mencoder for transcoding videos during my command line talk in May. It's somewhat complicated for a beginner to know what settings they need to use for specific devices (PS3, iPod, etc.)
I just saw this today: Arista Transcoder http://programmer-art.org/projects/arista-transcoder It allows you to transcode videos for different devices with different presets. >From the Arista page is a link to another similar utility that may be of more interest to developers: http://www.linuxrising.org/transmageddon/ Does anybody know of any others worth checking out? -Mark C. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
