If you want to have it start automatically create a symlink in /etc/init.d/ that points to your script in /usr/local/sbin, then run "sudo update-rc.d symlinkname defaults"
If you want to run it manually just type "sudo sh /path/to/scriptname" Hth, __ Gustin -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkpzRogACgkQwRXgH3rKGfO0bgCgp4+tSPEUoKxx5c8y+xgBD0L3 lIUAniL0p+9e+HuCd6405s5K7fhT6nNl =5K1O -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
