You need something web-based...
Plenty of options, depending on the type of business... (google for CRM
- Customer Relationship Management)
I am currently looking at Todoyu, but that is more for IT-support (a
task manager with some CRM functions)
Take a peek in Google-Apps they might have something for you without the
hassle of setting things up...
