There are some at Protospace (Calgary's Hacker Space) playing with this,
and intending to make a table.

My understanding is that the newer X-servers support it, it is just a case
of getting hardware which can sense multiple 'fingers' and the apps to
support it.

Multi-pointer (ie. more than one simulataneous cursor/keyboard/etc) is
also supported.

PS. Personally I think that it a load of hype, and won't actually make
GUIs that much more usable...
