Codecs are not going to help you, the video is played by a flash player,
so none of the codecs on your machine will be used.  The site works on
Firefox for Windows but not the one Linux machine I currently have
access to.

When I get home I will check it with my laptop which I do have flash
installed and working.

You can try to install the Adobe version of Flash, and then restart your
browser.  If that does not work you may be able to fake your user agent
string, but I suspect the problem is technical, so this will likely have
no effect.
