Shouldn't be a problem. If you're using the same account names I'd advise you 
to change the home directory for those accounts, that way you don't have to 
worry about incompatible config files, or at the very least make a backup of 
the 
directories and try both distros out. Another issue that may crop up is the 
UID and GID, ubuntu uses 1000 for the first account created and fedora uses 500 
(can't remember if the GID is 500 on fedora, but you get the idea,) so this 
may lead to some trouble.

If you opt to change the default home direcotry look at man usermod or dig 
though the system settings gui in your distro.
