I'd like to welcome you all into the new CLUG year. First, some
housekeeping:
AGM Results:
President - Dafydd Crosby
Vice-President: TBD
Secretary: TBD
Treasurer: TBD
Members-At-Large: Hendrik and Ron
The other positions are still open, and we are looking for volunteers.
I'm going to make some brief outlines as to what is actually entailed by
the positions, as well as the time commitments.
As part of my presidential term, here's what I plan on accomplishing
this year (with the cooperation of the exec and CLUG in general):
Promotion of CLUG outside of standard channels, and revitalizing its
presence within the Calgary software community
Renewing CLUG's sense of purpose
Raising Tier 2 membership by 10%
Automating existing administrative processes - make it easier to take on
executive positions
