Using Debian Lenny I have an Epson Stylus CX4600 all in one printer. I have a question about scanning and printing.
I have xsane set up. Is there a good tutorial for this. The documentation doesn't go into what settings I need to use, and it doesn't always explain things enough. I did a scan, but the preview and the scanned image is not very good. Is there a better program for scanning? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can I set the font size on text, pdf and html files when I print? When I print text or html files how do I know where the page will be cut off? I found this in the Debian wiki. Can you tell me what this is about: How would I set a link between programs? > xpp is designed to be able to take the same command-line > arguments as > BSD-lpr and SysV-lp so most apps won't realize > the difference if you > create a symbolic link from > /usr/bin/lpr (or /usr/bin/lpto /usr/bin/xpp. This way, whenever > an application sends off a print job to the lpr (or lp) > program, xpp will launch its GUI so that you can select the > options that you would like for this job. Xpp didn't use the margins I set. I set them at 25 mm and it printed at 12mm _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
