Tho change the drive label under linux one needs to install the mtools
package (at least that is what it is called in Debian/Ubuntu).  Read
the man pages, it is not hard to use just not obvious.

If you have a windows PC you can change the label from Administrative
Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Something or other.
