Hi,
I am a new member and am seeking help to get my laptop performing properly, i.e. wine and explorer working together, sinking calendars at work, better performance, etc. I can make a list of optimal tasks. I use Ubuntu by default not because I like it best and am interested in Kubuntu but can't connect wirelessly also audio player crashes. Mint could be an option....or any feature rich, office compatible, easy to use platform....I am open to options. I would like to hire someone to help me get this puppy working. Someone suggested I sign into the chat room (or something like that) but I am not interested in that. If you or someone in your team would like to help I would be happy to work around your schedule and of course I am willing to pay for your service. Thanking you in advance.

Jerry

Hey all,
The upcoming CLUG meeting is next Wednesday. Gustin and I are going to show how to create a personal library with Evergreen and Koha - if you've got a heavy duty collection of books, CD/DVD's, and more, this is the talk you don't want to miss.   As well, if you've got some new toys, bring them in and show them off before the holiday season! As well, book swap and hardware swaps if you've got something you think someone else might want.

See you all there,
