I have on my Linux (Ubuntu) system several Word 6.0 documents that were created in 1998ish on a Mac.
I tried to open them using open office but was shocked :-) to find that open office could not read them. Can anyone suggest a hopefully inexpensive way for me to be able to read these files? It would also be useful to be able to convert them to a form that I can view from Linux?
