My experience with this has been mixed, but mostly related to media. Try with different brands and/or batches of media. Also ensure that your burn speed matches the maximum speed of the media, and/or try slowing it down. I am not surprised when I create two or three 'coasters' at the start of every new spindle, till I find the proper settings for that media. Mind you I buy my stuff by the 'spindle' and go for the cheapest media I can find. Have bought alot from MemoryExpress this way.
