I'm looking to buy an inexpensive printer and of course I run Linux. I've looked at the HP6500 but I would like to use this as a network printer under Debian. Does it work?
What of other suggestions? I'm looking for the multifunction capability: print, scan, fax, copy. I can get the HP6500 for $50 bux. An 8500 is $250 bux. Also I have software that likes HPGL.
