The SOPA support definitely played a part in the switch (I know they've 'withdrawn support', but that they were for it in the first place bothers me a lot). I was tired of their bad support, their use of sex to sell their services, and their awful, AWFUL hosting controls on their site.
Regardless of politics, they are still a pretty crap company, and staying with them when there are better (and cheaper!) options is either laziness (my case) or approving of bad business practices.
