Hello All,

As my brother Mel says, I do carefully follow my doctor's advice.

I went to the Sheldon Chumir centre today because a sore throat and
runny nose should not happen with pure asthma. The doctor at the centre
took a throat swab and told me to use a certain phone number to see
whether my swab tests positive for strep throat. If it tests negative I
just continue as I have been doing. But if it tests positive for strep I
am to take an antibiotic he wrote out for me for ten days. He also said
that if the ventolin bronchiodilater does not work I may have to take a
corticosteroid. I told him that the last time I took ventilators I also
moved away from my allergens I needed them less and less until I was
completely free of asthma. And I expect it to be no different this time.
The doctor agreed with me that probably my dependence on ventilators is
temporary.

So with the success I have had in the past I have every reason to trust
Western medicine. No need to worry about me.

The last time I had asthma it took me about a year and a half to be free
of asthma.

Regards,

Michael
