Much simpler to go to memory express' service counter with the power supply. They have a tester there where you can plug in the molecular connecter. It is not enough that you get dc voltage, the voltage tolerance, the ability to supply sufficient current and the presence of supply available at the appropriate pin are important. (Used to be free and on the counter)
You might also inquiry there whether the power supply is the appropriate wattage considering the generation of the CPU and other peripherals.
