At the last meeting, Kin's brief demo of sweethome3d was popular. This program is an example of keeping it simple, and ease of use is why Kin stated he chose it.
I installed it on a Debian Squeeze install with no issues. It worked. If I am correct, it uses java, so your mileage may vary? Any one else try it? I want to try it on testing (Wheezy) but have not done that yet. Not tried the windows version yet either.
