I have used the online version of quicktax for the past two years. It worked fine on Ubuntu.
Before that, I used the Windows desktop version, and I was able to transfer my saved info from that to the online one easily. (It's barely useful to do this, but I thought I would mention it anyway.) I thought there was another company that had the same service (aside from H&R block and Quicktax,) but I do not remember the name, and I did not see it this year when I searched. -Mark C.
