Our daughter-in-law in California upgraded her iPhone3 to a 4s a while ago.
She gave us her old 3 and hoped we could get it converted to our Canadian
carrier. Bell-Solo said that they would be happy to, but it's locked to AT&T.
I've done some research and have only found a commercial service for $59. That
seems a high price for an older, free phone. Does anyone here have an idea how
to unlock this phone? I have a Kubuntu system and a Mac with Snow Leopard. I
can get to a Windows machine if I need to.
