Hi,

We have been providing Asterisk based PBX's for the last 5/6 years, so I am very familiar with Asterisk and its various distro flavours.

PBX in a Flash is a solid distribution with a high focus on security but there is certainly a learning curve associated with setting up a system well. There is also no outlook integration without an addon from a third party.

I have not heard much about 3CX but believe it is a good product, especially their later versions, however it does run under Windows, with all the implications that come with that.

What type of lines will you be connecting the system to?
How many end users will be supported?

If you have any specific questions that I can help with, please feel free to contact me?

Hey,

I am working a small PBX project and a couple of the big things needed are voicemail to e-mail and outlook integration. I've been playing around with both the free version of 3CX and also PBX in a flash, and I'm finding that 3CX has most of the features wanted in the free version. PBX in a flash has all of the features, but they are nowhere near as straight forward to configure, nor as integrated into one complete package. This is my first time working on a PBX so I was wondering if anyone had any experience or suggestions.

Thanks
