I had a look at the www.puppetlabs.com URL
and it looks like you can register and get pdf manuals, download virtual
servers in VMware and virtualbox formats.
The course looked expensive.
I can not devote any time to this yet.
Any one got some of this yet?

But also, what of the topics of comparing IT automation using FOSS:
1/ cfengine ?
2/ chef ?
3/ puppet ?

A few days ago I received the notice that Ruby / linux-based IT
Management and Configuration software package "Puppet" is coming to
Calgary to host a tranining session on May 28 - 30. I have tinkered with
Puppet but never became skilled enough to apply that system in my own
server environment. Anyone else interested in Puppet? See website:
www.puppetlabs.com
