I checked all of the mixer volumes on both the Lin & Win sides & have them amped up as high as they will go. But still the volume is "supposedly" not as high as it should be. I am not sure if maybe looking for a better Win driver might work but the sound is showing as generic because it is going through VB (obviously) so I am not sure that would even make a difference. That is why I was wondering if I could determine something on the host to give it that little extra.
Yeah I kind of thought that about the printing. I think now that the USB is working through VB I should be able to connect it that way at least on that machine. I hear what you are saying about VB...but ease of use was the main goal with it so there are always going to be some trade offs. Thanks for getting back to me though.
