Hello Clutter Peoples,

I have successfully compiled clutter 1.2.10 on Windows Vista 32
(Business edition - I mention this because it could be relevant in some
way...) using the mingw/msys environment - everything compiles, and I
have a nice clean msys/mingw setup for creating clutter apps in now.

...Except that I have a problem actually SEEING anything. This is
perhaps a little hard to explain, but, when I run a test (any test),
let's say test-actors (using the command "./test-interactive.exe
test-actors" in the interactive tests folder) A window pops up, but the
contents of the window are entirely empty (and/or transparent). The
window border is present, but where I should be seeing a bunch of
spinning hands on-screen I am instead seeing the windows and/or desktop
that are behind said window. All inputs (i.e. keyboard) are being picked
up by the window perfectly fine, I see those showing up in the command
line (msys) window.

So if I then take these files, put them onto 2 of my colleague's PC's,
one running Vista Home premium and the other XP Pro, it works - I see
the blue-ish grey background and the spinning hands, using precisely the
same files that I compiled and am using on my own laptop. (just zipped
em up, copied em over, ram the msys.bat and ran the test command from
there).

I was wondering if anyone may have seen this before and if so, (or even
if not) would anyone have any idea at all where I can start in trying to
fix this? I re-iterate, the SAME files that I have compiled on MY system
work on OTHER windows PC's - I see the stuff, just that on my PC I do
not.

I have the latest drivers available from my laptop manufacturer for my
Graphics card (an Intel 965 Mobile edition thingy).

I have also tried clutter 1.2.8, with the same result.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.

Mark T
