Am I being masochistic in taking a look at running Clutter-GTK on
DirectFB?

>From what I can tell the basic problem is that while this
depends on the ability of Clutter to do basically multiple stages
(or use foreign stages) and share memory with the GTK side of
things, the eglnative backend simply does not do multiple stages.

In clutter-gtk if I choose to use the default stage instead of
calling "clutter-stage-new" I end up with two completely
seperate and competing rending spaces for GTK and Clutter.
Oops. Maybe that should be obvious.

What is the basic reason for the egl backend's not doing
multiple stages? And should I just abanone this whole idea
completely? :)

Thanks,
Jake
