I have USB keyboard and mouse connected. The entries in /dev/input are also
created:

/dev/input/by-path:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Jan  1 01:17
platform-ehci-omap.0-usb-0:2.3.2:1.0-event-mouse -> ../event2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Jan  1 01:17
platform-ehci-omap.0-usb-0:2.3.2:1.0-mouse -> ../mouse0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Jan  1 01:17
platform-ehci-omap.0-usb-0:2.3.3:1.0-event-kbd -> ../event3
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Jan  1 01:17
platform-ehci-omap.0-usb-0:2.3.3:1.1-event -> ../event4
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Jan  1 01:17 platform-gpio-keys-event -> ../event0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Jan  1 01:17
platform-omap_i2c.1-platform-twl4030_pwrbutton-event -> ../event1

I can login on that keyboard.

Is it possible to set some debug mode to detect what happens with the inputs?

Thanx
Gyorgy
