Ah you mean like multiple stages ? Yes it needs to be added, its not
really that hard just a bit of slog work.

Yep. We'll fix that too and for prototyping your initial ideas 0.2
should be enough and bindings for 0.4 will appear soon (and there is not
that much API churn).

There is #clutter (or was) on gimpnet. I at least am not there very
often but can be if others present too.
