hi everyone;

I just finished wrapping up the Perl bindings for Clutter 0.3; the API
changes and additions of the development version have been wrapped,
except for ClutterEffect (which is more of a C convenience API, but I
plan to add it in the near future). if you have clutter-gst and the
GStreamer Perl bindings installed, the Perl bindings will automagically
pick them up and add a Clutter::Gst module containing the audio stream
object and the video texture. if you want to try them out, just check
out from SVN:

  svn co http://svn.o-hand.com/repos/clutter/trunk/bindings/clutter-perl

now, since everyone and his sister seem to be waiting for python in
order to use Clutter (even though I sincerely don't understand why ;-)),
I can say that the pyclutter bindings in SVN trunk build and seem to
work with the Clutter 0.3/trunk, thanks to Rob Bradford. the API is
still rough around the edges, and probably unpythonic in some bits, so
in the next few days Rob and I will make it better.

as soon as Clutter 0.4 is out we can start releasing the bindings for
the new stable version, so stay tuned for more bindings love!

ciao,
 Emmanuele.
