Hi All, A little while ago I performed the upgrade from Ubuntu Feisty to Gutsy whilst it was still in development (About the Tribe 4 period from memory) and had some problems with Clutter. These were odd problems with random textures simply not appearing, timelines not running correctly etc. It happened both on my python Clutter code and the C toys. At the time I figured it was a development problem with ubuntu and downgraded to Feisty, which then worked perfectly again. However I've just done a clean install of Gutsy final and experienced the same problems. I've disabled all the 3D desktop etc but still the problem continues.
The laptop I'm running this on in has an Intel 945 graphics card and I believe that the driver for this is upgraded in Gutsy so this is a possible cause of the problem. My desktop machine with gutsy and an nvidia card runs flawlessly. Has anyone else experienced problems with an Intel card in Gutsy? I've also attached a glxinfo dump in case that helps also. -Josh
