no, it isn't. thanks to the stellar CPython documentation (</sarcasm>) I
did not known that optional arguments had to be initialised before
calling the PyArg_Parse functions. I fixed this in all the
clutter.effect_*() wrappers, now, and will hunt down the rest of the
overridden functions.
