After investigation Mathieu and I came to the conclusion that both our issues were coming from the fact that we were accessing Clutter from different threads. While Mathieu did use mutexes as a precaution, I didn't know that EOG was calling the plug-ins from different threads. The moral is : don't call Clutter from different threads! (which is already a publicly known fact, but I don't know, may be not enough publicised? :) Pierre-Luc
