Yeah, Yes, my xcompostion version caused the configuring error. My version is
0.3.1.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] lib] rpm -qf  /usr/lib/libXcomposite.so.1
libXcomposite-0.3.1-1

xcomposite.pc :

prefix=/usr
exec_prefix=/usr
libdir=/usr/lib
includedir=/usr/include
Name: Xcomposite
Description: X Composite  Library
Version: 0.3.1
Requires: xproto compositeproto >= 0.3 xfixes
Requires.private: x11 xfixes xext
Cflags: -I${includedir}
Libs: -L${libdir} -lXcomposite

He has the .so symlink installed but I doubt the xcomposite package on F7
is of version >= 0.4. This could be checked e.g. with rpm -qf
/usr/lib/libXcomposite.so.1

BTW, I hope he doesn't expect much, performance-wise, in a VM.
