Just felt the need to come in here, sorry about the lack of feedback
from the candies project, we haven't had the time to start porting it
to clutter-0.8 yet (!): we are mostly doing some high level stuff for
now (such as virtual keyboard, video player backend, ...). It's
planned to begin in the near future though, please be patient until we
finally get to something stable and begin 0.8 testing. We are stuck
with an unkown rsvg segfault bug on latest Ubuntu distribution, so
porting/upgrading won't be as easy as we wished, and the latest layout
notions in clutter (get_prefered_size and other additions) will make
us work even longer. The lead developer is almost alone on the project
as well :-\

Please don't get it wrong, your python bindings are highly appreciated
for their completeness, which also means to take us this long to wrap
that many features...
