Yes; I submitted a patch a while back that makes libswscale write 0xff to the alpha channel, instead of 0x00. The patch was rejected, if I recall. I've instead taken the SSE yv12 to rgb32 code from libswscale and pulled it into my tree (which we'll use in Freevo), and adapted it to set the alpha fully opaque.
