hi everyone; skipped two weeks, but now we're back in business. :-)
most of the effort in the past weeks has been directed to bug fixing, documentation and small API additions, while we amp up the process of releasing 1.0.0. this mostly meant that the original release plan is now completely out of date; I plan to do a 0.9.2 release on w9, followed by a 0.9.4 release candidate and a 1.0.0 in March. I'm very sorry for the delay, but I'm sure you'll all be pleased with the results of the past six months of development. = development branch: (master) = + merged branch 'build-enhancements': this branch contains scripts and m4 macros that make the libtool and make output not so verbose; it's easy to spot warnings from the compiler but it always gives you the exact status of the build process. big kudos to Damien Lespiau + merged the annotations and build machinery for generating Introspection data at build time. + minor API churn in COGL, to increase the consistency of the function names and behaviours = experimental branches = + no new experimental branches = stable branch: (clutter-0-8) = + backported fixes for bug 1442 = releases = + clutter-0.8.8 has been released + clutter-gtk-0.8.3 has been released = bugzilla = + 97 bugs opened against Clutter core + 8 bugs with 0.8 target milestone (bugs that can, or may be fixed in 'master' and backported to the current stable branch) + 10 bugs with 1.0 target milestone (bugs that should be fixed in 'master' before 1.0.0 is released) ciao, Emmanuele. -- Emmanuele Bassi, Intel Open Source Technology Center -- To unsubscribe send a mail to [email protected]
