I am not sure if this will help, but this solved my font rendering problems sometime back !
After getting the stage, before you do anything else ... clutter_set_use_mipmapped_text (FALSE); Not sure if yours is the same issue. worth a try. - kiran ________________________________ From: Reid van Melle [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, 14. I recently got a hardware upgrade to the latest iMac which includes an "NVIDIA GeForce 9400" running on OSX 10.5 Since then, I've noticed that all of the font rendering in clutter has gone somewhat flakey (screen shot below). Basically, little bits of letters are cut-off or not clear. I realize that the clutter passes most text rendering off to pango etc. ; however, I was wondering if anybody had seen something similar and/or would be able to provide clues as to the likely culprit? additional info for debugging? I'm running the latest stable version of clutter (0.8.8). http://screencast.com/t/CwucOzLVcg It seems to be somewhat specific to clutter though I haven't done extensive testing. I have other projects which use cairo/pango for rendering text and I don't see the problems there. Hope somebody might have some insight. - Reid
