Note that a lot of the hacks that use to be in Totem's BaconVideoWidget (and that seem to be copy/pasted on occasions) should be filed as GStreamer bugs against playbin2. Using playbin2 should not require working-around the element as a lot of applications currently do, so please file bugs so playbin2 can be made easier to use.
