Hi clutter team,

>From two month now, i've started to work on a embedded browser to work
with python + opengl. I was using the first time clutter-webkit port,
and in second time, the webkit trunk branch.

But no work have been done in clutter-webkit since september 2008. And a
new branch clutter-mozembed is born on november 2008 - febuary 2009.

2 questions about this :
 * why changing from webkit to mozembed ? i would like to known if it's
technical reason or personnal reason :)
 * do you think, outside webkit or mozembed, would it possible to make
a more generic "offscreen-rendering" ?

As i think, we try to reach the same goal. Having a browser is hardware
with accelerated graphic. Instead of implemented a new platform for each
project with this goal, would be better to do a offscreen-rendering
platform, with a generic controler ? (Maybe i've wrong, and its fatest
as implementing a new platform...)

Regards,

Mathieu
