Hi guys & dolls, i am just starting with clutter and have a problem running it unter ubuntu 9.04 with ati-drivers.
i have a toshiba satellite notebook with ati hd 3100 graphics. the open source driver supports only mesa sw rendering and the fglrx driver doesnt work ... i can compile clutter-1.0.6 successfully, but when starting a test application no window appears, upon pressing Ctrl-C, the cpu load goes to 100% and the test-app hangs. as i was successful on compiling and using clutter on nvidia and intel graphics - so i suspect the ati-drivers has a problem ... has anyone here already solved this problem or has any hints what i can do to get any further ?!?! other 3d programs work (glxgears for example) regards & thanks for any hints, marcus. -- To unsubscribe send a mail to [email protected]
