Hi all!
It's not easy to describe the effect I'm trying to achieve, so I'll use an example that everybody knows: the ferris wheel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferris_wheel). I have a clutter group (the wheel) which, when rotated, should update its children's position (that is, the gondolas) while the gondolas' angle relative to the stage should not change.

What's the most efficient way to achieve this?

I was thinking of connecting to the group's "notify:rotation-angle-z" and handle it by walking through its children and set their rotation angle to the inverse of that of the group.

But maybe there's some better way to do this? Maybe subclassing the group and hooking into the rotation mechanism?

Suggestions welcome! :-)
TIA,
  Alberto
