Now you've made me paranoid that I should be prepending the value of CMAKE_OSX_SYSROOT before the prefix if it isn't already part of the prefix. I don't want to ignore CMAKE_OSX_SYSROOT if it has been set, but unfortunately I don't know all the details of how find_library uses CMAKE_OSX_SYSROOT internally. - David
