I just kicked off a bootstrap build of CMake on our dashboard machine

That machine is our closest match to yours, with OS X 10.7.3 and Xcode
4.3 and the command line tools installed.

Is there anything else strange about that machine? (Any additional
compilers installed, for example? Or any MacPorts, fink or homebrew
packages installed that may have futzed with the system include
files?)
Hi David,

Thanks for the clarification about the cygwin specific source.

I got the source from the following URL http://www.cmake.org/files/v2.8/?C=M;O=D

From the URL, it was not apparent that certain source archive were cygwin specific.

I have got my cmake 2.8.9rc2 now building on OS X Lion.

    Many thanks.

Regards
