Yes, I _finally_ had time to do it!  In the process I also got a
workflow set up to make it (again) easy to integrate KWSys changes
into CMake.  The main feature is that KWSys changes are now tested
everywhere CMake is tested before merging.

for instructions to propose these changes for inclusion in upstream
KWSys.  It uses a different workflow than CMake.  Once the changes
are merged to KWSys it will be trivial to put them in CMake.
