I was curious if it would be possible to open source CMake's entire
development
by putting it on Github or a similar collaborative location. The
CMake user base
is so huge and diverse that doing this would surely gain contributors
to improve CMake.

The main "official" repo is at cmake.org, but there is a mirror pushed
to GitHub automatically... You can help contribute to CMake using git
if you like.
