FIND_PACKAGE(Foo REQUIRED)

I cannot find any code that would have done this in CMake 2.0. What makes you think this worked?

I just tested it again.
You are right, 2.06 just complains when FindFoo.cnake was not found.
2.0 and .4 ignore the _FOUND thing.

The part about _FIND_REQUIRED and _FIND_QUIETLY is useful only to module authors so it is in the readme. Someone using FIND_PACKAGE to find a package does not care.

OK, It took me >70 find scripts to figure this out...

Thanks for clarification,
Jan.
