CMake itself is CPack-ified (so to speak)... As well as the recently
released VTK 5.0.1. Check out the "IF(EXISTS
"${CMAKE_ROOT}/Modules/CPack.cmake")" section at the bottom of CMake's
CMakeLists.txt file -- that's a good starting point.
HTH,
David
P.S. - I know you want *more* documentation than that, but that's a good
starting point. Take it for what it's worth... :-)

Hi Steve,
I am happy you find CPack so useful. Hopefully you will use for your
applications too.
I'd use CPack if someone could point me at something resembling
documentation somewhere. I only need to package up a source tree, and
searching the archives + grepping the sources is more painful than the
problem warrants. Even the quick and dirty version of basic operation
as relates to CMakeLists.txt would be appreciated.
Cheers,
