I think this is a know (already reported) bug which has been fixed in the CVS version of CMake: see http://public.kitware.com/pipermail/cmake/2007-June/014735.html However, I did not find a corresponding bug entry in the tracker. > If not so then you should add this info to > http://www.cmake.org/Wiki/CMake:CPackPackageGenerators. This is a Wiki so you may (after checking like you did) modifiy the page yourself. Since you are on windows you may want to try a nightly build of CMake CVS version: http://www.cmake.org/files/vCVS/ It should properly handle 7zip (I think I already used it).
