Hi all, I have a small question to pose to you guys (ladies and gentlemen alike) on etiquette: Is it normal for a CMake developer to jump into another mailing list and generally act in an obnoxious manner and act aggressively or provocatively? CMake sounds like a great tool but I am quite horrified that a CMake developer can be so nonchalant and unrepentant about exploiting a public resource such as another project's mailing list in a selfish and disruptive manner in the name of, uh, personal research, I guess.
Is such behaviour par for this list or project? Is Machiavellian or empathy-free techniques great tools to be applied by CMake developers? I too would like to use them if that is the case. I hope this list can help clarify my question, because if I bump into CMake developer culture another time, then I'd know how to adjust my posture accordingly. [I am not connected to the Lua project in any way and I post here of my own free will.] Thank you, -- Cheers, Kein-Hong Man (esq.)
