I'm sorry, but this is not correct. CMake prints out the message in cmDepends.cxx. (Maybe you were thinking about the "clock-skew detected" message which is printed when make discovers that newly created files gets timestamps in the future?)
Anyway, the printout is inside a if(this->Verbose) { ... }, so presumable it is something which can be switched on/off.
