We're going off on a tangent here, so I'll restate my question. Forget
the context. If I write
INSTALL(FILES foo DESTINATION ../bar)
... it works fine today. Will it work in the future? Is it guaranteed
to work on all platforms? I ask because I recognize that it is an
unusual use-case.
